NET STABLEFORD: This is an event for players with Established Handicaps. The software will first calculate the
| net score on each hole and then will apply the Stableford Points to it. The Virtual Scorecard displays both calculations: |
|

|
| POINT QUOTA a/k/a Par Quota or Chicago System: Variation of Stableford scoring in which each player |
has a quota to meet for the round. The software will derive a quota based on a player Handicap Index. If a player lacks
| an established Handicap Index, the quota can be directly entered. Net score is the total points minus the point quota. |
|
|
| THE TRAIN: A variation of Stableford that penalizes inconsistent play. Points accumulate |
unless and until a player has a caboose (two zero scores on consecutive holes). With a caboose,
the train ends and the score reverts to zero. All previous points are lost. A new train then begins.
In the example below, Dan Davis had a caboose on Holes 14 and 15 and lost 17 points he had earned.
| Then Dan started a new train and earned points on Holes 16 and 18 for a total of 5 points. |

ASIAN SUITE: AUTOMATIC SCORING FOR SYSTEMS POPULAR IN ASIA
ALL YOU DO IS ENTER THE GROSS SCORES...THE SOFTWARE DOES EVERYTHING ELSE
|
| SYSTEM 36: The software adjusts the gross score based on the number of pars and bogeys. |
This system is popular in Asia and yields excellent results. Players can easily understand it.
The standard tiebreaker is Gross Score, but this can be customized using Tiebreaker Wizard.
Scorecard below shows player shot 89 with 5 pars and 9 bogeys for 19 points.
Subtract 19 from 36 to yield 17, which is subtracted from 89 to yield a Net 72.
Why subtract from 36? If a golfer scores par on every hole, his point total is 36.
| Thus his score adjustment is zero, which is what a par shooter should have. Free Trial Software |
|
PEORIA SYSTEM a/k/a BANKERS: The Event Director secretly selects 6 or 12 Peoria Holes.
In standard Peoria, scores on six are tallied and in New-New Peoria, scores on 12 are tallied. Adjustment
is determined by multipliers specified during Event Setup. All calculations are completely automated.
| Use Tiebreaker Wizard to specify tiebreakers. New-New Peoria is also called Double Peoria. |
|
|
| METHODS BELOW ARE INCLUDED IN ALL EDITIONS OF THE SOFTWARE |
|
BLIND BOGEY or BLIND 9: The Event Director secretly selects 6 or 9 holes or draws numbers
out of a hat after play ends. Net score is simply the gross score minus the scores on the secret holes.
| Alternatively, net score is total score on the secret holes. Different holes can be picked for each round. |
|
BINGO BANGO: This points system allows unskilled golfers to be more competitive because no matter how
many strokes it takes to reach a green, the player can lose no more than one point. Points for the round are determined
| from the number of putts, the number of fairways hit and number of greens in regulation (which the software calculates). |
|

| High score wins in Bingo Bango. On above Virtual Scorecard, the player hit 11 fairways and 5 greens with 30 putts for a net -14. |
|
SKINS FOURSOMES: Skins is a points game usually played in foursomes. Our Skins Game software can
process 75 foursomes in a single Event File with completely automated calculation of skins. The point value
for a skin on each hole is specified at Event Setup. The Skins Log Table shows carryover and skins won.
| NOTE: The software also processes Skins Pots for stroke play events. |
|
 |
WHACK AND HACK: This is a Low Gross event for teams of three or more players. On each
hole, the software tallies the best and the worst score made by team members. There is a rule that
| rewards good play. If the low score on a hole is under par, the software tallies the two best scores. |
|
LAS VEGAS: Low Gross event for teams of two players. The team score
| on a hole is the low score multiplied by 10 with the higher score added to that value. |
|
|
| IRISH TEAMS: Differs from standard team scoring because scores counted vary each hole.
|
The software allows you to set up any type of Irish Teams event, including:
3-2-1 Event (Best 3 scores on Par 3 Holes, best 2 on Par 4 and best score on Par 5).
Cha Cha Cha Event (A repeating pattern of counting 1, 2, and 3 best scores of team).
1-2-3 Event (Best score on Par 3 Holes, best 2 on Par 4 and best 3 scores on Par 5).
Irish Fourball (Best score Holes 1-6, best 2 on 7-11, best 3 on 12-15 and best 4 on 16-18).
|
| RINGERS a/k/a Eclectic: A multiple round event in which scores on each hole for each round are |
not added together. Instead the software uses only the lowest score on each hole from all rounds played.
| In the Scoring Log example shown below, the Ringers Score is 64 from rounds of 71, 84, 85 and 78. |
|
|
| MATCH PLAY: Our match play software displays hole-by-hole status and can display event results on gridlines. |
